Call us now on 1800 1300 13 to find out how your business can benefit from a 1800 number.

The Difference between 1300 numbers and 1800 numbers

The main difference is how the cost of the call divided and paid.

The cost of calls to a 1300 number or 13 number is shared by both the caller and the 1300 or 1800 number account holder, who pays the remainder.

The cost of calls to 1800 numbers is paid by the account holder of that number.

1300 numbers (often known as Local Call numbers)

The caller: only pays a normal local call fee from any fixed line phone anywhere in Australia. However, if the caller is using a mobile phone, they will pay a rate that is determined by their mobile service provider.

Account Holder: this varies depending on the telco that carries the 1300 numbers.

If we carry your 1300 number, the first 20 minutes are FREE for calls originating from a local fixed line phone and terminating on your fixed landline. After the FREE first 20 minutes, our low call rates apply.

1800 numbers (also known as Toll Free/Free Call numbers)

The caller: FREE from any fixed line phone anywhere in Australia. However, if the caller is using a mobile phone, they will pay a rate that is determined by their mobile service provider.

Account Holder: the first free 20 minute component does not apply. Otherwise, virtually the same as 1300 numbers.
